Jun, 11University: Museums
This was the first project of 2011 that I really sunk my teeth into: my introduction to the leather shops of London. The feeding of my addiction to spikes and studs, a big step in the refinement of my designing style and most importantly the use of my newly acquired ‘sewing skills’.
Museum inspiration. More specifically the Science Museum and the Huntarian Museum. Steam machinery and jars full of pickled and deceased things.
Shapes.
Design development – for the first time with no drawing involved (and all the more successful because of it in my opinion). A more sophisticated style of collage.
